President Earl Howe called the meeting to order at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the Fall
Samboree held at Wekiva Falls Resort in Sorrento, Florida.
Before the prayer, Earl Howe asked the Beck’s to update everyone on Jim and Anita Coffman’s health so
we can remember them in our prayers.  Anita has been practicing to climb in and out of the coach so they
can come to the December camp out.
Chaplain Bill Catron opened the meeting with a prayer, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Roll Call indicated we had 10 rigs, which includes 1 visiting rig, Mike and Cathy Stallings, who want to
join our Chapter.
Earl Howe introduced visitors, Jack & Carol Cummiskey, who also are interested in joining our Chapter

Minutes of Last Meeting (Secretary):  Judy Stewart read October’s minutes.  Bill Catron made a motion
that we accept the minutes as read and Phylis Hager seconded the motion.  To save the time to read the
minutes at each meeting, Judy suggested they be emailed to members with internet access to review
prior to next month’s meeting.  Any additions or corrections will be noted and the minutes updated.  She’
ll begin with the November minutes.

Treasurer’s Report:  Earl Howe advised that Bob Tobin had asked him to report that the balance for
October was $1,717.82, which includes the escrow balance.  Mildred Beck made a motion to accept the
treasurer’s report.  Bill Catron seconded the motion.  Phylis Hager and Joan Cotter will do an audit on the
Treasurer’s books at the December camp out sometime before the meeting.

Committee Reports:
Howard Ferguson, Wagon Master, Charlie Hoelscher, Incoming President, advised everyone that the April
camp out will be at the Spring Samboree in Okeechobee, Florida and that he had cancelled the Blueberry
Hill reservation for April 2010.  He feels that all Chapter meetings should be held at the State Samborees.
Judy Stewart will send an email to Don Harper asking him to update the Camping Schedule.  There was a
discussion about camping beyond the 100 mile radius of Tavares, Bill Catron said that the Chapter could
go beyond the 100 miles but the members had to vote on it.  One suggestion was camping at military
bases; possible locations were discussed at length.  Also any member who has a suggestion for
campgrounds for future camp outs, was asked to get in touch with Bob Stewart, Incoming Wagon Master.
Don Harper, Web Master, No report.
Paul Beck, Newsletter Editor, Paul asked that anyone with recipes to go in the newsletter to please get in
touch with him as soon as possible.

Received email from Carol Dubeau, former member, invited her to join us in December.

wheel barrel full of food raffle.  Bill Catron made a motion to donate $300 to Dogs for the Deaf and
whatever is left over should go to the Chapter treasury.  Leo Woodward seconded the motion.
Chris Catron reminded everyone that any food donations for the Church Food Bank, as well as, any
donations for the Humane Society should be given to her so she can deliver them.

members, Joann Durrance seconded motion. The vote was unanimous.  Everyone welcomed them to the
Chapter.

Resort at 352-307-1100 or 1-877-809-1100 at least 15 days prior to the camp out.
Earl Howe discussed the fact that our Chapter needed to become more involved with volunteering or
doing special projects so that the Chapter could get recognition like other Chapters do.
Bill Catron reminded everyone planning to attend the December camp out to contact Chris Catron or
Joann Durrance to find out what they should bring for Saturday’s dinner.  Everyone was advised that if
they wanted to exchange Christmas cards they should bring them to the camp out.  Bill explained that
there will be a $10 Chinese gift exchange and how it works.
Joan Cotter said that the Chapter needs a new activity board.  Bill Catron made a motion to get a new
board similar to the one we currently have and Joan Cotter seconded the motion.
Bob Stewart asked whether we needed both the Chapter banner and the little signs.  Bill Catron made a
notion to do away with the little signs and Joan Cotter seconded the motion.
There was a discussion regarding new shirts for Chapter members, Charlie Hoelscher said that Howard
Ferguson has all the shirts and the information on where they were purchased.  It was suggested that we
look into getting shirts that were not so heavy (too hot in summer); Fran Blanchet was appointed to look
into finding something that was cooler and what they would cost.  Charlie Hoelscher would check with
Howard.  The findings will be discussed at our meeting in January.
Bill Catron thanked Mike and Cathy Stallings for the use of their PA System.
